Is love really blind? If a spouse let's them self go is it a deal breaker?
I have heard people say love is blind. That you should love your spouse for who they are and not what they look like. I agree to a point. But knowing that men are highly visual is it reasonable to ask that they not care at how how their wife looks? If a woman lets herself go is it fair for her to assume that her husband will stay forever faithful and just deal with it?
I was thin when my husband met me. After getting married and having 3 kids I put on about 75 pounds! I am currently working on getting this weight off and have lost about 45 pounds. This has done amazing things for our sex life and our marriage. I look back and regret that I did not take batter care of myself. I actually started losing weight because my husband told me that he had a hard time finding me attractive. Should he have just shut his mouth and dealt with my fat a**?
First of all- Good for you- Congrats on losing all that weight- that is absolutely awesome.
I'm not sure exactly how he said it to you- but if it was done tactfully and with Love behind it, then I think it's absolutely fine- especially since it got you motivated to lose the weight.
I'm dealing with the opposite problem. I want to lose some weight, but my husband is so terrified I'm going to lose my butt he keeps bringing home Carmello bars and acting like it isn't a big deal 
I really need to lose some- but it's a constant struggle between us. He thinks that if he doesn't care, then I shouldn't care! Ugh- I just can't win.
