need help shining up a 02 grand am?

ok i have a black 4 door grand am gt, and its starting to show its age.
the b-pillars, the clear coat is peeling off.
the headlights, starting to get cloudy gunk around the inside
the exhaust tips are dull and covered in some sort of muck i cant get off
the buttons on the radio, windows, and locks, all started peeling.
the body and paint are still in good shape i just need some ideas for shining up these minor things that are driving me crazy. i found some b-pillar covers but im not sure i can install those on my own. i know i cant install new exhaust tips, but maybe theres a way to clean it up? is there anything i can do to make the buttons look nice again without buying a new radio/switchplate? can i clean out the inside of the headlights somehow?

The b-pillar covers are easy to install. Out of all the things driving you nuts, that's the easiest thing to rememdy.

The headlights are basically SOL ... it's easier to get a new headlight housing and start fresh.

The exhaust tips require a lot of time & patience to get clean once again. Look for a good quality degreaser and spend some time "getting to know your exhaust tips" because it'll take ages getting gunk that's caked on there for years.

Very little can be done but to replace the aging switchplates & radio. Can probably find covers for the switchplates, but the stereo I'd recommend replacing. Either find a cheap replacement from Ebay/Craigslist/Local Junkyard or just purchase an aftermarket one.

It's okay to be proud of your car .... it's not OCD. It's more being nice to one of things you rely on on a daily basis. =)
