Is it safe to connect a three prong outlet where a two prong used to be (no ground wire)?
I just had to replace an outlet/receptacle and it was the kind w/ no ground. The new outlet I had was a three prong so I just hooked it up w/ no ground wire.
Am I pretty safe? I realize I prob won't have much surge protection... but can I plug in a TV/Computer w/ out worrying about fire or something?
