Need to know what the best winter tires are for a Nissan Altima Hybrid.?
A few days ago, I hit black ice, I stepped on the brakes, but the car kept going. The Car is just about to tap into the 20K mile mark. These are the same tires I got when I bought the car. I am sure the tires on there are good, and I know ice is ice, but is there any tire out there that holds better tracking for things such as black ice and ice and snow? Etc etc. Thank you.

The type of car doesn't matter as much as the type of tire you put on it. Even the cheapest winter tire is better than any all season tire.
I would suggest you get a winter tire that accepts studs. Talk to your local tire shop and they will fit you with the right tire.
