I got 3 marine batteries and would like to know if I can use one trickle charger on all 3, do i need 3 charger?
Can I still keep the 3 batteries connected together or do I have to disconnect them to use seperate trickle chargers if they are neeed to be seperate.
About the time I thought I knew a lot about batteries, I didn't. But, you need more than a trickle charger to keep all three Batteries charged. A marine high tech charger is relatively expensive, so I'd think about a battery switch that would isolate each battery and a trickle charge for each battery. OR a bigger charger (20 amps or so) that is wired to handle 3 batteries. That's what I have, and it's a RV charger that's inside the main cabin, not in the engine compartment. Hope this helps.
