Green Technology
Will majoring in Electrical Engineering allow me to work in Green Technology?
It's obviously the new industry that is rapidly growing with many jobs and opportunities. As an electrical engineer would I be able to go into green tech? Would another engineering field be more applicable, like mechanical? Electrical as far as I'm concerned is circuits, programming, and also the theory behind it. And beyond just working at one of these companies, would I be able to operate as someone important on the business side due to my knowledge of my industry?
Yeah. also on the note of power generation some schools offer a degree in mechatronics which is like generators. the combo of electrical and machanical basically. just trying to build a basic generator if u do research u will realize there is a lot of math and design specifications that electrical engineering will teach you to understand.
