difference between blue and green mailboxes in NYC ?
I live in NYC Nd I was sending a letter to someone so I went to the corner street where I live, and there's 3 mail boxes the big ones 2 were blue and the was a green one? what's the difference??
I put my letter in the blue one.
but I just stared at them wondering uhhhh what's the diference?
help I wanna know if I put my letter on the right one eek >_<

You put your letter in the right one. Blue mailboxes are ordinary mailboxes, while green ones are used for storage -- for example, by carriers on foot.
The green boxes are kept locked, so you won't put your mail in them by mistake. Don't worry.
