what is a business that takes little money to run but has a huge profit?
Im 19 years old and serve in the reserves. The area i live in is mainly rural, its a college town in VA. Its pretty much the real life green acers.
The term "huge" profit means different things to different people, as does the term "little money." And, in any business, it takes a while to get known. But one legitimate business that can yield 75% to 200% gross profit margin is selling spare parts for machinery. The more esoteric the machinery, the greater the profit generally. I have a friend who sells parts for industrial vacuum cleaners and floor maintenance equipment (like those used in large office buildings, parking lots, and retail stores), and he does $2.5 million a year, on an inventory of about $50,000. When he started, he just did it part time, out of his garage, on a shoe string budget; he had perhaps $1,000 in inventory, and drop shipped a lot of his orders from larger suppliers. As his business grew, he started researching sources of common parts and supplies, many overseas, and stocking those that had the best profit margins and highest turnover. He makes nearly 500% gross profit on one particular abrasive pad he brings in from Mexico, that uses volcanic pumice as its "secret abrasive."
