where do I go for assistance single mom with no benefits low income in Texas?
I'm not sure where to turn. I'm 11 weeks pregnant about to lose my benefits at work and possibly being laid off due to work being incredibly slow. I am not making much money at all these days because I'm on commission (which SUCKS!) The father (whom I'm not married to) is in a worse financial situation than I. I totally cannot rely on him. So I need some help with food and medical/pregnancy/delivery hospitalization etc.. I have no idea where to go. I have NEVER been in this situation so I'm kinda freaked out. I live very very frugal so I LOATHE having to ask for help. I have always been very self reliant. So this is a humbling experience! I'm in north Texas / Dallas area. If anyone can steer me in the right direction I'd be so grateful! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
Give the child up for adoption or raise it up in poverty........ Don't be selfish. Its the child's life. Its not about you, its about whats best for the child.
