how do i stop being so frugal?
iv been taught never to spend my money. my dad was a child during the great depression and he and i still think we will fall into another.
here's a story:
we had an assignment to "tour canada" (basically a worksheet where you spend your hypothetical money and tour the country) it was a rule that we had to spent all 7,000 of our hypothetical dollars. i could only spend 5,900 and got in trouble. i couldn't even spend HYPOTHETICAL money. im only 13 and im already terrified of growing up and going bankrupt in this economic recession. i love free samples at the store and cant stand losing a dime. my family never had financial problems. how do i stop being so frugal?
my dad was born in 1935 and his family couldnt spend money because of the war and he probably remembers some of the 30's
you start memory around age 3 so that means 1938.
Your father was a child (and remembers) the great depression during the 1930's?
So he is over 80 years old? you are 13 years old?
