What do you do when you get water all over an electrical outlet?
I've gotten a load of water over an electrical outlet, and it was making a crackling sound so I turned the switch off using the end of a plastic vacuum pipe. But what do I do next, I can'tr turn the thing on again, it will make that crackling sound again, and how do I get rid of the water without electrocuting myself?
Turn this electrical outlet off at the mains, remove the cover and tape the end of the wires and let it dry naturally. then switch the electric back on.
