Are there clothe pads or anything that's ecofriendly?
I was just thinking this over today. I try to be as environmentally considerate as possible and I realize I'm only on my period once a week every month but there has got to be something more environmentally friendly than what I'm doing.
I should add that I'm deathly scared of Tampons.

I am vegan. I didn't know that many adhesives were made from animal products. I guess I never thought about that but it makes sense. I would just use TP if my periods weren't so heavy.
I assume the toilet paper you're currently purchasing is eco-friendly.
That said, pull out a few sheets (about 4), still connected. Fold them in half (so now it looks like 2 sheets...don't fold lengthwise), then in half again (so it looks like one sheet), then tightly roll from one end to the other. Now you'll have something in the general shape of a tampon. Place this long-ways, like how a pad goes, but place this between your vaginal lips. The vaginal lips will hold them in place. Think of it as a more compact version of a pad. It won't feel like you're wearing a diaper, and the lips will hold them in place without having to have adhesive (which is great if you're vegan, as many adhesives are made with animal products).
