how to keep clothes dried on a clothesline from getting stiff?
i am starting to line dry my clothes as part of our family energy saving plan...how do i keep the clothe from getting stiff on the line?
Liquid fabric softener works wonders, but only use the recommended amount....using to much on wash cloths and towels acts like a water repellant. Also, as stated in another answer, put clothes in dryer when they are almost dry. you can even use low heat or air fluff. Clothes smell soooooo good when dried on a line outside. Also, your bed linens will be crisp!
