Buy Solar Panels

Would you buy and install solar panels on your house if they were readily available and less expensive?
Yes I would. I bought a solar hot water system 20 years ago. It worked well beyond my expectations for 18 years. I had a new roof put on and the contractors messed up the roof panels and it doesn't work anymore and nobody knows how to fix it. I had almost endless hot water and my gas bill was peanuts. I would install photo electrics without a care. Too bad they cost so much still. If they paid for themselves in 5 years it would be a bargain and very green.
