Adjustable Flow
I've just bought the most gorgeous fish tank! Plz can those experienced check this was a decent price and help?
me make some decisions about which fish to choose, give me advise and tips on setting up my aquarium.
i plan to cycle my tank, but don't fully understand how. it's being delivered on saturday (whoop!) can't wait.
appx 30 inch deep 1ft wide 16" tall
the tank has included gravel, rock, ornaments, plastic plants, 2 nets, heater, spare heater, air pump, L stone (what is that btw?) and also new spare small stones.
it includes a penn plax 600 with carbon and foam & adjustable water flow (what the heck is one of those?!?! lol)
light tube & switch unit
it says it has "3D wall backing inside" and on the photos it looks like a grey wall image- what exactly does it mean by 3d?
very pretty tank, but it cost me all this months wages from my part time job! £60 (awww bless me, lol)

first of the "L stone" is the bubbler stone probly...the pen plax 600 is a filter..lol. im not sure on the price cause i live in the us...but heres my best advise that i wish i would of known...do research on every fish you think you would want to own. like go to a petstore or something and write down which ones you like and look up everything about them. like what fish can they live with, tank size,food,water temp,special needs, EVERYTHING. also you should join a fish fourm for some answers on some questions...they are VERY smart and almost always friendly.like www.fishinthe.net or www.fishlore.com are ones im on....also search stuff on how to set up a new tank. like learn the nitrogen cycle and everything. i hope i helped ya!
