what can i do about this?
one of the people i get on the bus with is so non ecofriendly. one day she had some cereal in a Styrofoam cup (still filled with milk) with a plastic spoon. she takes it and puts it on the ground like the earth is going to suck it up or something.( in front of the school i get picked up at). what can i say to her that will tell her to care for the environment?thanks!
talk to your principal on this subject about litering and tell how you feel in an "I" statement. Get your whole school involved. Join a club at the school that deals with these situations. There may be an environment club there. There also may be a club in your community that helps pick up trash.They could help people become more aware of this problem and help. Talk to your congressman, governor, mayor even on this topic. They could be persuaded or not.
The only thing I can say is I feel the same way when I see people doing it even in the stores they do that.
The only way you could make people feel bad is if they saw pick it up and throw it away that would make them sometimes feel stupid and guilty that they threw trash on the ground.Then there are the people who see you pick it up and think personal servant and keep doing it to provoke you.
Just tell her nicely where the nearest trash bin is and to make sure she makes it in.Just tell her how you feel nicely.
